found) and lacks
the U.S. PROPERTY mark on right side of the frame above the trigger area.
Punch-dot ordnance inspected on the upper left flat of the trigger guard is
present. Pistol was one of 320 sold to the United States Government and
shipped to the Property Officer, Supply Division, Office of Strategic
Services, Fowler Building, Rosslyn, Virginia on September 8, 1944.

LeBreton, U.S. Army, who served in the India, China, Burma Theater
in WWII. This pistol is accompanied by an unusual leather
shoulder holster with a finger cut-through that allow the pistol to be
fired from the holster.
